yet. i had one major issue with the pre alpha but i loved it. id like to go back to using it again but i was not sure if they are sending out updates to it or not yet. i know its alpha lol since that is usually everyones answer and i know it will have issues. but are they actually updating it or will you have to uninstall it to install the newest version? i uninstalled it for now but i want to reinstall it. thanks

I doubt they will update the pre - alpha since they already have 10.2 beta out for testing.

v10.20 is no longer being worked on. ALL focus is now on v10.50 (in other words, the next snapshot will contain the same engine, etc. as the pre-alpha, but with bug fixes and more).

To some extent that is true... The underlying development is very much independent of the gui.

QA is most likely focused on 10.2 and as such, GUI bugs etc in the prerelease won't have that much focus as the new javascript engine etc. My point being, I wouldn't use Opera 10.5 as my primary browser just yet, since it hasn't hit alpha yet (wonder if that is all PR though). Especially if you use M2, since M2 is notiriously incompatible between versions ;)

That being said, Opera is without the best browser, the mail client is a delight and I love how it is always responsive even if it currently isn't the fastest renderer, soon to be changed with 10.5 :argh:
