Anyone have a clue how the XP Home SP3 firewall got turned on?

    That has not been in use for years and I'm presently using Comodo. Is it possible that when I left the room with the wireless mouse to clean it yesterday, thinking that was far enough away, that I somehow enabled it? Indeed, when I returned the control panel was open.
