The last few days, a link has been appearing on my desktop. The icon is the standard Microsoft anonymous icon and it's labelled:

    "auto_backup__do_not_overwrite.ieb"

I checked the properties of the link but there's absolutely no references to anything, other than it's size which is 36k.

I deleted it once, it came back on a reboot so I deleted it again. So there are two copies in the recycle bin.

Like most techs I've got the usual armory of resources, so I've run HJT, StartDrek, StartupList and BHO Demon with nothing out of the ordinary being revealed. Can't see anything odd in win.ini or sys.ini and NOD32 isn't worried about it.

It's got me puzzled and Google doesn't bring up any hits - anyone else run across this?
