Anybody use Slingbox (or something similar)?

    I have a friend who was wondering about Slingbox or any similar program that allows watching cable tv on a laptop away from home. Is Slingbox the top program/device for these purposes or are there others?

    Hi, folks: There is a program called ChrisTV online, which has more than 100 channels worldwide via internet w/o TV card. I am testing it now and too early to tell whether it is worth the mooney yet.

    I tried the Pinnacle TV2Go and the Slingbox Pro. The Slingbox is much better in my opinion. Will also work on your PDA.
