    HI all,
I'm referring to the small app. you download to do an on demand
scan (I don't have a resident AV installed on my old Windows 2000 system).

I set it to do the default (quick) scan, and it always fails at 81%
while it is scanning \system32 . Usually the file it stops on is
    qedwipes.dll (directshow file).

It crashes, produces dump and log file, it shows access violation, code
    c0000005.

I temporarily deleted the above file and it crashed on the next file,
temporarily removed the file before and after and it still crashed
    in the same vicinity.

Downloaded ESET's tool and it ran through without any problems.
Any idea why Housecall may crash?
