One of the things I most hate about the way my security suite functions is the use of the 127.0.0.1 proxy to monitor network access. The reason I dislike this so much is that I like to use the DiamondCS port monitor program to monitor open ports and their associated process. Of course, practically every open port is now associated with my security program so I have no idea which process actually called for the port.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to monitor port usage under these circumstances?

    Thanks.....
