I have Vista and it seems that the only way to not have the constant ntdll.dll crash with any browser I am using is to use firefox and put firefox.exe into the excluded list in Data Execution Prevention. Is there any security issue with this type of set-up?

Exploits targeting Firefox's buffer overflows won't be prevented by DEP.
