Just curious if anybody in here recently tested MBAM Pro since their version 1.70 was released. Is this program still as good as the name it represents?

Interesting results. MSE wasn't obviously given fair chance because it doesn't have URL blocker.

I've always thought NIS should be run together with MBAM in real time. The combined coverage is very good.

Then add a further layer of your choice, and you're pretty much covered.

    - But good work the top 3.

MBAM regularly blocks sites for me - keeping me out of trouble - glad to see test results back up my attitude of them.

They became quite heavy thou, almost as heavy as a full blown IS. That's why I am putting their usefulness to question.
I am wondering if K9 is enough of a replacement for the MBAM Pro URL blocker.

Based on my experience, K9 has better detection and less FPs.
