it has to be at least 2-pc,

ive got some online armor premiem licenses around, but i dont wish to use that as its just firewall.

kinda looking for a good AV, or internet security for my brother and I.

christmas is the time i usually see offers, so its good to look and ask :)

ive seen Norton 360 v4 for £28 which is tempting, especially as its 3-users.

Avast Internet Security had some promo code going- 55% off. There's also the Bufferzone Pro promo going on this month where it's free.

eBay is ok if you can get a boxed product, sealed. Be very very wary of retailers who offer a "key by email" on eBay. They are very often created with a keygen. Only 6 months after using the code will it be switched off by the software developer, without notice.

I think a lot of the great deals were on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. I took advantage of Sunbelt's Black Friday offer and got VIPRE Antivirus Premium for $20 a license for a year. The regular antivirus was $10 but didn't include a firewall.

I recently purchased a boxed copy of Avira Internet security off ebay for $24.99. Only one computer, however.
I have had good luck on ebay, and for the three that were not good my money was refunded by PayPal.

    Regards,
    Jerry

Lots of really good free ones out there. I use AVAST.

I bought a box of CD's for a few bucks at a local computer shop that's just closed. The owner died.

Four antivirus .exe's were included, with license written on the CD. Sadly, all were pretty old versions. Basically, out of 11 CD's, ten were useless.

The one good one was VMware 6.5.4. He'd bought it, downloaded and moved the saved program to CD. I installed it. It registered and I figure I did okay. Working well.

One reason that someone might want a paid program is that the software license precludes the use of a free program. For example,

I derive my livelihood from the work I do on my computers, so I cannot legitimately use a free program. Furthermore, I believe that software developers should be paid for the work they do. I'm particularly sensitive to this issue as I am a software developer myself.

What follows is all I know, so don't bother posting up any questions I can't (and won't) answer.

Zemana AntiLogger 1 User 1 Year License $10.42
    -http://www.programmers.com/PPI_US/Product.aspx?sku=Z0B%2001101G01&source=WEBGSHOP-

Zemana AntiLogger 3 User 1 Year License $15.28
    -http://www.programmers.com/PPI_US/Product.aspx?sku=Z0B%2001103G01&source=WEBGSHOP-

My freebie license expires in a few days and my two purchased ones next month.
So I searched zemana in google shopping and found these to be the best deals around and made a purchase.
Got the license and Zemana's good to go for another year on three of my systems for fifteen bucks! :thumb:
Vendor is rated well in WOT and resellerratings.

Like anyone here in the Wilders Where's-my-free-stuff? Circus is going to relate to that.

I won an avast internet security licence, but it just doesnt feel as good as nod32 on my machine.

I know avasts internet security is an expensive piece of kit to win, but it feels a little clunky to me, so still might purchase eset. (my trial for that expired)

Lol, ive also got quite a few online armor premiem licences, maybe its about time I sold these a bought something I will actually use. :)

There are loads of good deals around for every product, you've just got to decide which product you want and look for them, best to decide for yourself rather than asking others:-what they use and like may not be to your taste
