Any good bloggers/blog creators out there?

Looking at creating my own blog about security, anyone good at it? Any tips on software? I heard wordpress was good but I'm not sure where even to start.

 

Hosted or payed? If you want a free blog there's Wordpress and Blogger. If you want to pay for hosting I recommend HostGator, DreamHost, BlueHost - just stay away from Godaddy. Every paid host from above offer one click easy install for Wordpress, Joomla, etc...
