Hi all, as per the title.
I was sold an oem winxp home disc, with sp2 "built in".

It's a M$ disc, not an oem from another retailer or anything like that, so is there any difference beside the serial no.?

I ask coz I've got another valid serial no. (paid for and all), but I only have the oem disc. Would using the oem disc with the not oem serial conceivably cause any problems, or is the difference solely in the s/n.

    Thanks for any replies, argus

The discs themselves have the same data. The differences lie in price, how its sold, packaging, and the support you get.
