any Add-on recomendations for Firefox 2.0?

    Some of the more useful: refcontrol, useragentswitcher, adblock, adblock updater, noscript, videodownloader, customizegoogle, greasemonkey, cookie button, sage, tab mix plus, del.ici.us, scrapbook, dr.web, some more.
    Some of these have not yet been resurrected, so they are patiently waiting for updates.

    i only use a few but they do work very well for over all secure and safe surfing.with a good firewall its a very lite and fast system.

    4) Filterset.G Updater
    5) Macfee SiteAdvisor

    Is it safe to connect to Internet Banking with the above active?

    you can really get lost in the F-Fox add-ons site
    some essentials are

    Tab Mix Plus
    Adblock Plus
    Netcraft toolbar - Blocks phishing sites
    No Script
    Flashgot
    Video Downloader
    and the unbelievably handy - Periodic Table

    then there's ..................................... :)

    Yes, I have those add ons, and a few more already mentioned , plus
    I didn't see this one mentioned "Random e-mail"
    This add on will give you a temp email address for 6 hours, so you are able to join websites or whatever and not give your real email address, which cuts down on spam...I like this :)
