Antivirus Uninstallation Question

I'm thinking about switching to another antivirus program just to give it a try, but the one I am currently using has 3 viruses stored in the virus chest. Would uninstalling the program have any effect on this at all?

 

most will offer to delete them or at least tell you about them at uninstall.

 

Why hold on to them since they are apparently known detections?

 

You might fully uninstall all with the native removers provided in a handy KB article by ESET.
