Hi, as i have certain unknown malware problem on my smartphone having camera, mic and gps permission i have tried to install an antivirus toolkit app to discover this malicious app. An antivirus toolkit app can be downloaded from play store from the developer ApplineDev. From the application monitoring section i selected camera, microphone and gps permission and the app showed an app that cannot be visible or properly displayed without the name. I know that i have infected smartphone because camera triggers while i am shutting down the pixel phone. There is a green indicator light displayed of an access dots app for a while. Can someone install or test this app if you have similar unknown apps displayed? The app is a little buggy and it stops on my pixel but can still run the scan. Please see the attachments! Thanks.
I wouldn't install an app and give it permissions when only 1k users have it installed and developer states that your docs, audio, pictures etc can be shared with 3rd party companies
I do know the procedure and i tried but these unknown apps are back while using this app. Even Check Point endpoint security app showing no infections on my pixel. Access dots app cannot show the right app that is responsible for camera triggering but its green light is still showing late in the evening right before i shutdown the phone indicating that the camera was used for a short time.
nail it and then recycle trash for electronics. what would you like to read? you cant handle it - then its trash.
