Emsisoft with Ikarus engines was a much stronger and better protection and detection and was solid. It continuously had the highest detections. That changed when switch to bitdefender. It become worse.

I tested emsisoft greatly with ikarus and later with bitdefender and saw a huge decrease in detection.

Since the switch I have gave up on emsisoft and am using other AVs with better result from my extensive testing.

Do you happen to have any actual records about your tests that you could share? Like for example hashes of samples that are no longer detected? I am asking, because none of the tests I have seen so far showed a drop in detection.

    Thanks :).
