ESET Smart Security. Low rate of false positives is a major reason.

In addition to running a real-time anti-virus on each of our machines, we use a multiple on-demand scanners to catch anything that may have gone undetected. I generally access downloaded content through Sandboxie without recovering it to the desktop. Anything that needs to be kept long term is stored in the cloud for future download.

Hey whatever works for people. Next poll in October I have to remind myself to include those bit defender engine AVs such as Roboscan IS, Qihoo, 360 IS, etc... Forgot to do it this time.

I was about to mention that, if Qihoo were included it would probably be quite high up at the end of the poll :)

when I use antivirus it's Kaspersky Internet Security...I've only had a few issues with it which is much less than most other av's I've used...although I must say I've had very good luck with Avast and would not have a problem using it again

Webroot SecureAnywhere complete which covers my main desktop and my mobile phone, a relative's desktop in Florida, and a relative's desktop and mobile phone in NYC. I can check their security status; their calls for help decreased 83 percent. Near perfect protection. Knock plastic.
