    Hello,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if its better to run my antivirus for a full system scan before my antispyware for a full system scan or vice versa?

My second question is, do I run each of these scanners in Safe Mode ( I am using Windows XP ) since most programs are not running?

    Thanks,

    Gracie :)

The usual with safe mode is to run it there if you're suffering under a heavy infection. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure about the antivirus/spyware thing because I have mine automated and the only option is to run the antivirus first before the antispyware. damn suites! xP

i dont think the order matters, but id run the AV first since it has teh broadest malware detection. as for safe mode, its usually a safe bet. it doesnt hurt to scan in normal Windows tho.
