I have just switched to Antivir and I got to say detection rate and heuristics great better than NOD32 (sorry NOD32 guys)

I like Anti Viri too, but how do you know what you are saying. What proof can you offer. I sometimes get  for those who make such remarks without even telling how they have determined this. ;)

NOD32 has proof that it has the best hueristics on www.av-comparatives.org . And you may as well check how Anti-Vir did in the hueristic part too compared to NOD32.

Is this the Pay or free version? I would be interested in hearing what you think about their update capabilities. It is a well known fact that I think the free versions edition is abysmal in this area.

    Thanks

The latest testing at AV-Comparatives would be at odds with your statement. But perhaps you are simply more comfortable with Antivir which is fine. If you like it it means you will use it and be protected, which is what it is all about isn't it?

I also have settled fof antivir.
updates are fine for me.Updates usally 2 or 3 times a day.
Process takes about 10 secs, which is fine by me.
At least they give free version, which for this kind of product, only avast do also.

I do not class avg as a free antivirus that is in the same class as top notch antivirus programes, but for free avast and antivir are up there with others.
