antivir 10

    Using antivir 10, i get pop up about trojan in my temp files but it wont remove them very frustrating...is this a free issue?

    run CCleaner to delete temp files.

    then scan your whole computer.

    hi there ok ill try ccleaner, here is what pop up says each time, but never removes it, just tells me it's there.

    Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Dropper.Gen [trojan]'
    detected in file 'C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\drw00006.tmp.
    Action performed: Deny access

    You might have to try and gain access to it. First try running it under a multi scanner like Jotti. If it still comes up as a trojan you have to gain access to it. Unlocker is a good program, Hijackfree form emisisoft, file assasin from malwarebytes. Once unlocked see if you can manually delete it.

    What is the default action you have set in the Guard module? Set it to Quarantine or Ask.

    Turn off your computer and unplug it for a few minutes, make sure there's no power going into it. Then boot up in safe mode and run a full scan.

    And have a look at the fridge -that extremely evil virus that makes all your beer vanish must be hiding there. :D

    Open task manager, find any ackward looking tasks, kill the process tree.

    Go to start > run > and type in %temp% and delete everything in that folder and then run a scan and see what happens.
