anti photoshop software

    Hi

    yesterday i was watching the news , and they talk about images photoshoped and they named a software able to detect if an image is photoshoped

    i don't remember extacly the name of the software but is something like full match (i'm almost sure about match"


    do you know it?

    For photojournalism it maybe helpfull to have such a app. to check integrity of the image.
    In landscape and scenery photography and such,photoshop is very usefull.

    So it depends.

    Nice ! But a photographer is already manipulating the scene even before he push the button :D

    For newspapers etc. it could be a godsend to have something like this.

    For ''landscapers and such,its a godsend to have photoshop in order to ''polish''
    our pictures.

    Are you talking about raw images or any which one?
    If there's no special metadata in the image header, it might not work.

    If we could figure out how photos were forged, we might be able to separate honest people from cyberspace criminals.

    whats wrong with just zooming in on the image with just about any photo editing program and looking for the telltale brushmarks etc.....

    There's a fair bit of gray area in the spectrum between honest and criminal :)
