    Hi,
First question I have is why you are trying to stop a legit Windows process?

As for it not being blocked, what are your settings?

    Thanks
    Mike

Hello Coldmoon - thanks for replying.

I'm just testing/tinkering to see the effect of blacklisting on how my machine works/performs. I've learned a lot about what processes start when I run s/w by having the tool flag everything (?) up.

(I do have a baseline image to roll back to and it's not a 'production' machine).

I'm not on the machine right now, but I know I have only the first 3 boxes checked (enable AE, enable on the fly driver, forbid IE from activating not whitelisted). I also have checked the "Ask me if there isn't a rule".

I'm really just interested in understanding what the tool does...

    Thanks again

    Hi,
I apologize for the delay in getting back with you as I needed to check with the team on this. There is a known issue in 2x that has been corrected in version 3 with other enhancements to the protection.
