Having some problems very recently. Just ran Ad-aware and Spybot and here is my HJT log below. I keep getting blocked from being able to get my delete key to work and something keeps trying to load a "new" HP Scanjet file when I don't have an HP scanner. Also an exe file that begins in "nv" keeps trying to load at startup which I cancel before it manages to start and my Zone Alarm firewall keeps asking for permission to allow spool.exe, nvwrssk.exe, and wmplayer.exe access to the internet. These three are all new pop-ups that have never occurred so frequently in the past so everytime they come up I deny them access thinking that because they have only recently been appearing that something is wrong.

I would appreciate your help on my HJT file below. Thank you very much for the help and for having this forum in the first place.

    Hi campco,

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hp Update 3300C] C:\sj650\hpupdate.exe 3300C+

    O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [MS Setup] C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

    O16 - DPF: {75D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} (SecureLogin.SecureControl) - http://secure2.comned.com/signuptemplates/ActiveSecurity.cab

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

You will need to follow the instructions here after booting normally again:

    Regards,

    Pieter,

There is one more line in there that bothers me. What about the following, it also seems like it does not belong because I have no idea what "nwiz" is.

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /install
