There are plenty of Android launchers around, I was just wondering if anybody cared to check if they are a privacy threat.
Upon installation (especially on Android6) they ask for lot of permissions and I am not sure what they can "send home" aferwards.

    Opinions?

I use Nova or Action , and they both work fine without granting any permissions

One thing to watch out for is permission creeping. That is, an application doesn't require special permissions when you first install it, but subsequent updates later you are being asked to grant more and more special permissions to the application.
