Win XP 2 Toshiba laptop started blue screening and infinite rebooting. Only had a split second to read the blue screen-it mentioned amon.sys.

    Got into safe mode
I went to c:\windows\system32\drivers\amon.sys and renamed it to amon.old
then rebooted to normal and managed to uninstall Nod32. Then I rebooted and clean installed from the server and all seems good now.

Just posting in case other have similar issues.

    Anyone seen this before?

If you renamed the amon driver to another your NOD32 may not be working (at all).

Please , uninstall version 2 of NOD32 by going to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs.

    Reboot.

Install the latest version of Eset Antivirus v3 - next generation NOD32 from www.eset.com/download
