    Hello Nod 32 users:

My present set up is OA 2 with HIPS and FW and Nod32 2.7 2844 and AMON set to scan every possible file. All my other MON's D,E and I also set to maximun.

Correct me if I'm wrong but with this config I think my PC is checking every single file before opening and every single exe TWICE before executing?

Is this correct? At least the NOD 32 piece? Yes I have read the help in Nod 32 and that is what I interpret. :doubt:

If this is the case, then I'm wondering if scans by NOD 32 AV is any longer needed on a daily basis. As each file and exe is scanned 1 by 1 BEFORE opening or running.

This seems to good to be true, so it must be false?

Nod 32 scan seems to run every boot anyway so o_O?
