Did not happen in my case. The Kindle charged normally.

It Is not possible to access the files, but this has been the normal behavoir for several months.

To save Docs in the Kindle from the PC, I use 'Send to Kindle'.

I just checked my Kindle. No problems with either USB2 or USB3. I can access my Kindle files and folders in Windows Explorer.

I connected the Kindle again and Windows crashed. When I plugged it, the Kindle was connected to wifi. It wasn´t in the previous case.

I checked this again after Windows updated to 1607 14393.105. The same happened, Windows crashed when I plugged-in the Kindle and it was connected to wi-fi. Doesn´t happen when the Kindle isn´t connected to wi-fi.
