"These claims are so easily made without proof" that applies to you as well.

as guest said, the MRG tests show weaknesses in the program too. all i did was run some fresh malware on it, it caught most of them but no more than what avast found.

fair point, but they should not be making claims that there beta's are more stable than other vendors full releases, cuz then it make them look :doubt:

My tests showed WSA did a very good job.

@SweX: Have you definitively changed from ESS to WRSA?

I also found the new version, though still beta, did not seem to perform as well as the original prevx in my tests. But there is a chance that will all be improved in the final version.

    + 1 one that

the most similar protection would be Internet Security (examples : Bitdefender IS + trafficlight). but that would be much heavier than prevx.

so can I ask the OP, what is that you really looking for?

    Browser protection? : Trusteer Raport
Keylogger (or any other logger) protection? : Spyshelter
Light and yet powerfull protection? : Sandboxie :thumb:
Anti virus ? : many choice there -> try Emsisoft , it has a flying mark on MRG test, on par with prevx result
Very light pure firewall? : Look n Stop

me? I use all of them :shifty: :D :D

    No, I will/can never leave ESET ;)

The reason I had to uninstall was due to the 6414 VSD update wich caused major issues for me: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1926558&postcount=30

But as both you and me know WRSA is a fantastic software that one just have to test out for Free during the BETA. I got a license for ESS so I can use it when ever I want. And I think I will keep WRSA at least until ESS V5 Final is released.
