Alternative Update Methods?

I'm running behind a proxy server / firewall and can't get the updates. Is there a place where I can specify the proxy address/port or is there a way I can just download & install the updates conventionally? Any ideas appreciated.

I assume u are talking about SpywareBlaster?

If u are, just open the programme interface,click on Updates then click on Options and u will see different ways to update. There is a place there to enter a proxy.

Hey snowbound thanx for the tip. I tried telling it to use the system proxy settings (IE using them, etc), no go, then manually entering it, no go, then even checking the "Alternative Downloads" checkmark. No help.

Thought you'd like the update. I'm not really interested in using it at this location anyway just scoping it out I'm sure it will work fine on a home dsl/cable/dial-up connection.
