When I formatted my HDD I did not specify the size of the allocation unit. The allocation unit is currently 32,768 bytes. I would like it to be 8192 bytes. Can I reformat the HDD and use a TI image, created using the 32,768 allocation size, and restore it to the smaller allocation units without TI changing it back to 32,768? If not how do I do it?

Since you can restore an image to a blank disk (without previous partitioning and formatting) I would assume that by restoring you will overwrite the reformatting data and get the 32,768 allocation unit size back, along with all the other data included within the image file.
