after updating and applying, not all users sync

    I am running Windows XP Pro (does the same with windows 2k) after downloading updates and selecting them and choosing protect button, the protection does not apply to all of the users on my machine. For example if I logged off and logged back on as a different user and oppend the program, all of the updated definitions would be there but I would have to hit the select all and protect against button again. Is there a way to fix this?
