adware/spyware

I used Ad-aware 6 to scan my computer. Initially I had problems where IE would redirect my homepage and every other url I typed in to the address line to att.net, and it said something about nkvd.us. Now my IE seems to be working okay, but everytime I run the spyware check on my Earthlink TotalAccess software it finds something new.

Download and run: CWShredder
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Then reboot into safe mode
and delete:
C:\Program Files\SEP <= entire folder

Then (still in safe mode) use the Disk Cleanup Utility to empty all your Temp folders.

Post a new log when you are done, so we can see if everything worked out as planned.

I'm stuck on the first step. I've downloaded the Memory Watcher Uninstaller, but when I go to open it, an error window pops up, saying "NSIS ERROR: Error launching installer."

If it doesn't work you can do the rest of the instructions, since they can be used independent of each other.
