   As by title, which encryption software do you recommend to encrypt my folder before storage them in the cloud ( Google Drive, or Dropbox... ) ?

   I like GnuPG, because it's OS-independent. Windows, OSX, Linux, *BSD, Android, iOS, whatever.
   
   But first, you need to create an archive. For best OS flexibility, use zip or 7z. Maybe others.
