    Hi :)

    Just To Let People Know...

A few days ago I received an update for - Adobe Shockwave 11

As the update went through the installation..
There was something - That Had I Not Noticed.. May have caused me big problems :(

One of the installation windows asking me to click - Next
Had a notice about also installing - Norton Security Scanner
The box to install the Norton Scanner was already - Ticked :cautious:

    Already Having - NIS 09
I have No wish to install - Norton Security Scanner

    I Have Since Found Out...
Norton Security Scanner - Is Also Extremely Difficult To Uninstall
    See Here : http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=other&thread.id=7240

I really don't like it when - Software Installs / Software Updates ...
Try to install something I didn't ask for or expect.
They should at least leave the box - Unticked

I Apologise If I've Posted This In The Wrong Place

    Hi TechOutsider :)

    Thanks! ;)
But I think you may have misunderstood me

I Didn't Install The - Norton Security Scanner

Luckily I Spotted It Just In Time ;)

    However!
    I wanted to warn others.
The update for - Adobe Shockwave 11
Popped Up .. The very second my laptop was started
If everyone gets this update the minute they start up their computers...
It's very likely to catch quite a few people - Off Guard! :(

I know you suggested - Revo Uninstaller
    However!
I'm not sure how well it would work in this instance :doubt:

    Apparently!
Norton Security Scanner ... Reinstalls Itself Every Time You Boot Up :argh:

Yep, I noticed that too a couple of updates ago with Shockwave. You gotta be on your toes when installing some of these software out there. That's why when ever possible, I choose the custom install option.
