This morning I scanned my system with Secunia Online Software Inspector. The results indicated my system was insecure and that I needed to apply the latest patch to Adobe Reader. The scan revealed my Adobe Reader to be 9.4.0.195 and the Patch to be 9.4.1.0.

I downloaded and applied the patch then scanned my system again with the same results. I turned my system off then turned it back on and again scanned with the Secunia Online Software Inspector with the same results.

Any suggestions or recommendations. As always all replies will be most appreciated and I would thank you in advance.

John, I'm using the Secunia Personal Software Inspector v1.5.0.2 and my updated Adobe Reader shows as 9.4.1.222.

Perhaps update again and restart the PC?

Still no luck at my end. I even went as far as deleting Adobe Reader with Revo Uninstaller. I then installed Adobe Reader, from Adobe.com, and then the Update Patch, from Adobe.com. The Secunia Online Software Inspecter still indicates that I am vulnerable and need to update. I also have posted my problem on the Secunia Forum but have not heard anything yet. A typical day for me! Thanks for replying.

I received a reply from Secunia today advising that this problem had been resolved. I then scanned my system with Secunia Online Software Inspector and the scan reported my system had all necessary patches. Hopefully, this also resolves this problem for any other forum members experiencing difficulties.

John, one would figure that both the Online and Personal versions should offer the same results, yet something was amiss. Thanks for posting back!
