Went to update Adobe flash player plugin for Firefox (v 12.0.0.70) and noticed
Certificate issued by VeriSign was outdated.

    Valid from 2/23/2013 to 2/25/2014.

Is this VeriSigns responsibility and shouldn't Certificate be updated?

There's a difference between SSL certificates (which should never be expired for connecting with SSL) and certificates for code signing (expiration is OK if time-stamped before the expiration date).
