Do you have any supporting documentation of this release?

    TIA,

In case what's true? When I go to that link I see nothing... something I have must be blocking it. Even allowing 1'st party scripts did nothing, and that's as far as I'm willing to go.

Disqus is used extensively across the web as a user comment and reply system. You'd have to alow it to see that some are saying the new Flash version crashes FF and IE.

FYI, the Chrome FP version number is a higher number, per the Find Version helper page and plugins page. :)

Chrome just updated again today to 21.0.1180.79.
    It updated yesterday, too.
So there is a new Flash Player version number... 11.3.31.227.

Threads like this always remind me of one reason why I like Chrome so much... Flash is bundled, meaning no fooling around with updating.
Unfortunately, I still have to schlep over to the IE9 side of the tracks, and do the upgrade shuffle.

If you want a Browser that phones-home your third party plug-ins, Page42, that's fine by me, however, I'd sooner do my own updating as I am in control not what Google wants me to install.
But, we'll leave that there as Browser preferences are a personal thing.

The fact that Flash is bundled in Chrome is not a personal preference of mine, siljaline.
It's a function of the browser, and thus, a valid addition to a thread that addresses Flash player updating.
Your comments about Google phoning home, otoh, are personal preference territory. ;)

You're welcome Triple Helix. Although I'm definitely not the OP I figured might just as well get the info. :)

Here is where I get my Flash installers for Firefox. I dont use Flash in IE, my other browser.

Nothing, ever, gets bundled with this installers. This are clean installers. So clean, that lately, I have been using the MSI. For some reason they install better in my computers than the EXE. I updated yesterday to version .300.270, I ll wait a few days before updating to this new release.

IE10 builds flash in, at least on Windows 8, hopefully on Windows 7.

The article is from June 18 about the update from June 8, there have been a few new official release builds since then and one of them fixed it afaik.
