ESET Smart Security keeps sending a harmless file (I am certain it's harmless) to quarantine. As soon as i remove the file from quarantine and try to open it again, it sends it back.

is there a way I can stop the file from being auto-scanned when i open it?

It may not necessarily be FP but it's impossible to tell for sure without analyzing the file.
