Adapter card problem

    The last thing I did on the wife's new laptop is to download and run ewido. I deleted the two items it found. The wireless adapter immediately quite working, and now no longer even sees the signal from the router.

    A system restore didn't help and I'm at a loss as to where to even begin for a fix.

    Any suggestions?
