Well, I don't feel sorry for these people that were duped, because this whole crypto and NFT stuff is complete nonsense. I must say it's shocking that an unknown company like HyperVerse could steal $1.4 billion, just how dumb and greedy are these investors?

    +1.
The first alarm bell should have been - after buying into a cryptocurrency-mining operation that promised "double or triple returns"
These people "invest" their money but have no concept of due diligence.
    Caveat emptor.

Currently a 23 old Dutch law student is missing, apparantly around 300 people gave him a total of about €5 million to trade in crypto, and of course everything is gone now. I don't know if he stole most of the money or really made some bad trades. But just how dumb are these people?
