Hello, I have TI 9.1 Build 3567 and I am trying to image a Windows 2003 Active Directory server.

After the restore the server hangs during the startup with the following error. "Directory Service cannot start. Please click on to shutdown this system and reboot into Directory services Restore mode"

When I do as suggested and check the event logs it seems that the AD database is corrupted.

I have tried this on two AD servers with the same result.

A side note: when I create a task to backup the server I enable microsoft VVS support, but when I go back to edit the job this has been disabled again.

    1) Restore an Image
    2) Reboot in non-authorative domain controller restore mode (F8 at startup )
    3) Restore the latest NTbackup System State.
    4) Reboot

    Thats all......

Never run the restored DC in normal Mode before doing this!!!!!
