Hi Mantra! I'm a bit confused.

As far as wireless USB mice and USB keyboards (standard 2.4ghz dongle connections) are concerned, they are handled no differently that WIRED versions of themselves, unless they have some super special features (buttons) of some sort. Using the standard W7 mouse/keyboard available driver (it's many years old), even wireless mice and keyboards will have all their normal functions available (LEFT & RIGHT mouse buttons, center wheel and button). What they may not have available are special GAMING buttons located on the side of the mouse... but normal mouse features should be fully operational. If they aren't, they won't be for WIRED devices (USB) either.

When you mention WIRELESS USB drivers, that's a different issue all together. They are required to operate a WIRELESS USB connection to other devices like printers, scanners, etc.). That's not a mouse/keyboard thing... it's a USB thing to eliminate wires for USB-type connections.

If your wireless USB mouse AND a wired USB mouse don't work, the issue may be in your BiOS in an area known as LEGACY USB operation... this function should be enabled for all USB operations in order for the type of mouse/keyboard connections you're describing to work properly.

If the mouse/keyboard is plugged into USB3 connections (BLUE), then there may be driver issues that need to be dealt with that have noting to do with the USB function of mice but the general USB3 functionality of the Mainboard. If this is the case, I would move them to USB2 connections, if available (GREY or BLACK, not BLUE) and insure that the above mentioned LEGACY USB function of the BiOS is active... this should allow them to function outside of Windows driver control while in special BOOT modes, etc.
