    Hi.
I recently purchased Acronis True Image and made backup of important Documents and Movies in D:\ and saved them in the Acronis Secure Zone . I didnt make any backup of C: in which acronis itself was installed. now, my little sister by mistake or something else, deleted some of the imp. DLL files in C:\Program Files. MS Office, Adobe PS and Acronis are now no longer working. When i start it, it just analyses the partitions forever, and then just shuts down. i dont thinks its a problem in my hard drive, since it used to work correctly till yesterday.
Now if i reinstall acronis, will i get back my Secure Zone and all Backups, therein? I doubt this, since when i first installed Acronis, then too, I had first created a 10GB partition by Partiton Magic myself [i didint know, that acronis could do it too]. However acronis was hell bent on "resizing' a partition, and using remaining space as ASZ and i had to forcibly lose 1GB, and make a 9GB partition as ASZ! So if i reinstall it, it will again resize ASZ to make new ASZ which implies my old Backups will be Lost...ka boom!

    What should I do?
is there any File [*.ini] or any other which stores info about ASZ, so i will save it and after reinstall, put it back.

Ya..i will make my backup of C: now...Promise!

A simple uninstall using add remove programs will leave the secure zone as it now is.
That is true for all older versions of True Image and should be True for the 2009 version which I can only guess is the one you are using.
