I contacted Acronis support several months back asking about when they'll update Acronis Trueimage v10.x to support SATA disks off the ICH9R southbridge for Intel P35 chipsets and was told to wait for Acronis Trueimage v11.0 for support.

So when will v11.0 be out ?

To answer your question most specifically, yes it will be released sometime between next week and further into the future.

In the past, Acronis has released new version of TI in September or October. However, past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

In addition, once a new version has been released, it's not uncommon that in the first two to six months after the initial release, new builds are released at frequent intervals which fix major problems with the original release.

In summary, your milage may vary.
