Last night Acronis sent me an email offering 50% off version 11 of True Image. I went and bought it for $24.99 and downloaded it. When I installed it it asked for me previous version serial number as the version they actually sold me is the upgrade version. Upgrade version is regular price of $29.99 so how do they figure $24.99 is 50% off? 50% off upgrade version should be $14.99 and not $24.99.:cautious:

    Hello milkweg,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please be aware that by "50%" the promo e-mail meant "an upgrade installation package at a price of 50% of independent installation package".

    Thank you.

Advertized price reductions should relate to identical products not different ones! Your approach is like offering a Ferrari for 90% off and then providing a Fiat.
