    Hello,

this might be a bit cheeky, but i am totally disappointed from the Acronis Support Team.
I absolutly LOVED Acronis 8.0. Acronis 9.0 caused a bit of trouble, but never mind. The big deal is the support which totally sucks. No E-Mail reply within 1 week. The Support-Hotline ist quite expensive, too.

This is sad, since i sell about 10 Acronis Products a Month (Not much, but that ~100 a year!)

Therefore i might want to look into alternatives.
Does someone know any? Ghost or anyting alike?

    Cheers, Mario

I might as well tell you, your's is not a proper post for this forum. This is for issues with Acronis True Image. I would suggest you post this inquiry to the usenet newsgroup forum of your choice, but not here, as you will get no help, I'm afraid. I might suggest you just Google your topic. You will get hits. There are many choices, but none as good, in my opinion.

If your issues are with the product itself
I think your best alternative would be to post
any problems you have with ATI to this forum, I'm sure
the guys here will sort out most issues fairly quickly.
Search the ATI Forum and you will see lots of
    solutions to various problems.
The devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

    Not true.
The software & SErvices forum is not restricted to Acronis.

You should get up a little earlier, Mr. Kaikow, as this post originated in the Official Acronis Support Forum, and not the software & services section. It was moved as it should have been by a moderator.

Hey guys, we are all one big happy family, so lets help the poster instead of screwing with each other ;)

Some alternatives to Acronic True Image are

    From terabyteunlimited:
Image for DOS which doesn't run in windows, and you have to boot to it separately

Image for Windows which is similar to true image and
BING which does a lot of stuff.

    From Norton:

    Ghost

    From Paragon:

    Drive Backup

from the above, your best bet is probably either IFW of IFD IMO.

    Cheers

BING, IFW and IFD of course.

BTW, I have found free utility DriveImageXML very nice.
I use EAZ-Clone however, it is also free but needs FAT 32 partition and a bit tweaking in some cases but it works well for me.

conclusion: Acronis ist a good product, but if you run into problems you are lost. Neither the community or the Acronis Support team can help.

Therefore the product just sucks. Looks like Acronis ist just greedy.

Please don't forget the incredible "Drive Snapshot" software

    http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/

If find it much easier to use than ATI, even if it has less features.
