Acronis True Image 9 NL username refused

    Hello,

    When i make backups by manual starting a scheduled task,then it works fine.
    But when it should start automatic, it fails with a message like "The username or password for this network source \\Werkstation2\Server\elke_dag\C-disk-Server1.tib is refused. This message is translated by me from Dutch, therefore it can differ from the real message!
    The task is running on Windows XP Pro, over the network, to a external USB disk connected to a Vista machine. Other Vista machines can do their task fine to this same USB disk. All machines have the same user account and password to prevent not getting access. On the XP machine i can edit tasks, so username and password must be OK. Sometimes, a task runs, but most of the time not.
    Here i sho you a peace of the logging in Dutch.
    Is there a fix?

    Hello Oleg Lee,

    Sorry for the delay, i was misunderstanding that i would get mail about a reply.
    Also i was confused about the version, so i understand your question.

    After opening the info field, i found the next info:

    Acronis True Image Home version 10.0 (build 4.942)
    This is not matching the logging info, version="1.0" build="1", but its real!

    My confusion was because i work with different versions helping other people.

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image

    Use the following KB article to download and update Acronis Scheduler. See if the issue persists.

    I would recommend you download free trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2009 and test it. Tell us the result.

    Note: You should completely uninstall Acronis True Image 10.0 Home prior installing Acronis True Image Home 2009.
