Acronis True Image 2009 installation won't start

    When I double click on the exe file and click Run I get a Windows error.
    Does anyone know what is wrong? My PC has Win XP PRO.

    Other thing to check is that your security software is not blocking the install file. Your seciruty program should have some faciltiy for marking aprogram as allowed. Or you can turn it off while doing the install and then turn it back on again after wards. If concerned that you were vulnerable to attack in the interim, you can run a scan afterwards.
