Acronis True Image 11 & MBR Question

    Hello everyone,

    I have been searching via past posts and have not been able to find if there is way to save your MBR using Acronis True Image 11. I just actually redid my system again and I not only want to create a backup of my c drive but I also want to back up my MBR just in case.

    I believe the MBR is now included in a disk backup. To test, run a backup and then step through the restore wizard until you get to where you select what to restore – see if the MBR isn’t one of the options.

    Yes, it is included.
    when you restore an image it asks if you want the MBR restored, in fact, in a reply to me, they recommend restoring the MBR to avoid any problems.
