Acronis Snap Deploy 3 and Samba Domain Join Problem

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the join domain feature of Snap Deploy 3.

I set the deployment template for domain join, start the deployment and everything seems to work fine. But after the deployment, the client is still in the workgroup "lan" which I specified in the master image. All other network configurations like NetBIOS name were successfully changed by Acronis.

When I check the os_patcher.exe logfiles in C:\windows there's always an error like
"<event id="4" level="3" module="100" code="1355" time="1245147137" message="Computer: 'NetGetDCName' failed." />"

The NIC driver is definetely installed at the time Acronis tries to join domain. It is done previously by MS Sysprep.

When I join the domain after Acronis finished via Script and netdom.exe or via System Properties dialog everything works fine.

The domain controller runs on Samba 3.2.11.

I think it might be some DNS problem.
Do you have any hints?
