    I am running Win 2000 with ntfs and have migrated my 40gb disk to a new 80gb one. When I boot from the new disk it will accept the password but then immedietly logs off and asks for the password again. I tried downloading sysprep and running it but it made no difference perhaps because I did not have a bootable floppy to restart with, or because I did not enter the -nosidgen option( no opportunity occured to do this) the option to create a bootable floppy does not seem to be there in the personal version. Any ideas?

    Hello John,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis System Transferring and Cloning Software.

    Please make sure you have unplugged your old drive and plugged the new one in the same way as the old diks was before the cloning. You should have done that before trying to boot Windows.

    If this doesn't help please do the following:

    - Download Acronis Report utility from http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe;
    - Run Acronis Report utility and select the "Create bootable floppy" option;
    - Insert a blank floppy disk in the floppy drive and proceed with creating the bootable diskette;
    - Boot the computer under consideration from this diskette and wait for report creation process to complete;
    - Send the report.txt file from the floppy disk to support@acronis.com along with the description of the problem.

    Thank you.
